Logroño is the capital of the autonomous community of La Rioja, in northern Spain. It is a medium-sized city with a population of around 150,000 inhabitants. It is known for its important role in wine production, as well as for its rich history and culture.
Places of interest in Logroño include the cathedral of Santa María de la Redonda, a 16th century Gothic-Renaissance temple, the Convent of La Merced, the church of Santiago el Real and the Co-cathedral of Santa María de la Redonda.
